As the morning started, so went most of the day…. With the passing of Tropical Storm Flossie to the south of the island, it was a breezy and rainy day most of the day. We decided to spend the day around the resort relaxing and checking things out, but every time we headed out for a walk around the beaches, it started to rain again…<\/p>\n

We took the picture below as we were sitting under a grove of trees to keep dry during one of the numerous short downpours all day.<\/p>\n

By late afternoon, it finally cleared off, and we were able to make it out to the middle of Turtle Bay, to the west of the resort. It was only about a half mile walk, but my legs were dead when we got back. Unfortunately, I think my legs are getting a little weaker every day during this trip, but I\u2019ll manage ![\":neutral:\"](\"http:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_neutral.gif\"){kind=icon}

As we got closer back to the hotel, we found a group of sea turtles playing in the surf. It was had to catch them on film or video because of the breaking surf, but Marianne managed a couple shots, and I have not reviewed the video yet.<\/p>\n
