This nice palm looks so pretty from a distance:
But get close, and it will scar you worse than a cactus. Look at those thorns on the frond stalks:

Since then, things have cleared a bit, and we can finally see some of Molokai below the clouds:
And there is some sun hitting the south shore of Lana’i:
Running a bit late today, but we are relaxing and on vacation… Headed to breakfast and other adventures soon!!

Evening in Lahaina…
After dinner, we walked around Lahaina to see the sights and watch the sunset…
Just a day after our 17th anniversary, and Marianne has found a replacement for me… 😀
We really thought we had a good chance for a sun into the ocean sunset, but just like two years ago, the clouds seem to rush to the horizon just before sunset…. Still a beautiful sunset…
