Our travel plans to return to Hawaii for Marianne’s 50th birthday have now been made.
Let’s see how many of my friends are still receiving blog notifications and reply to this…
It has been almost 2 years since our last trip, so I’ll be interested to see who is still around šŸ˜‰

Updating Blog Entries for Picture Display….

Well, it has been a year since our last trip to Hawaii, and I just recentlyĀ discovered that our photos are no longer being displayed in the blog entries. This is due to the change of our company website hosting to a new location, and the renaming of the old locationĀ to a personal webspace. By now, I am sure the new locationĀ has long been picked up in the search engines over the old location, and people have been wondering what happened to the pictures.

It is going to be a long process, as all 265 blog entries have to be individually edited to change “kadetstationery” to “lwwilliams”, but I will get there a few pages at a time over the next few days….

Thanks for your patience. Also, plans have started for “Hawaii 2013: Marianne’s Birthday in Paradise”. [It’s a big one, but I won’t tell yet, let’s just say she was born in 1963 :-)…]

And So We Wait…

wpid-2011-05-21_09-10-07_41.jpgSettled into SFO for about 90 minutes waiting to board United Flight 906 for Chicago. Boarding commences @ 10:26am and push back from the gate @ 10:56am (PDT).
This time, we made it through Check-in and TSA Security in almost record time for SFO. Of course, after the mess we had 2 weeks ago, we allowed ourselves an extra 45 minutes to get through the lines. We did use the cutbsideĀ check-in for our checked bags, and that went much faster than the lines inside, but we still would have been well ahead of the time spent last time….

Android Lawn Art @ Google

We had to stop and get photos of the lawn art for each ofĀ the android release versions based on the code names: Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, FroYo [Frozen Yogurt], Gingerbread and Honeycomb.

Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to visit with Andy this trip. He is always flying off somewhere or busy with meetings, so it’s understandable…
