I wish the weather was better around the park, but we did the best we could. I may have better photos on the Nikon to load when we get home. Marianne took these from the Kodak.

Activities for Today….

Hawaii2011-0873Before we left O’ahu, we scheduled another helicopter flight with Paradise Helicopters for the big island today. We have to check in back at the Kona Airport Helipad @ 10:15am for an 11am departure.
This flight is their “Hawaii Experience” tour, and lasts about 2 hours. Details can be found here: http://paradisecopters.com/tourInfo.php?TourNo=HE
Since we flew with then on O’ahu, we got 20% off on this flight, an offer we couldn’t refuse 🙂
We don’t know what will follow the flight… Anyone following our potential itinerary as posted before departure knows that has been tossed long ago, and we are just “winging it” and having a good time!!

Dinner @ Bubba Gump Shrimp Company

Hawaii 2011 0801Good food, reasonable prices, huge servings and great views for dinner.
However, still no sunset. Heavy dark clouds moved onto the western horizon and obscured the setting sun one more time. This makes eight nights in Hawaii without a sunset into the sea….
