Before we left O’ahu, we scheduled another helicopter flight with Paradise Helicopters for the big island today. We have to check in back at the Kona Airport Helipad @ 10:15am for an 11am departure.

We don’t know what will follow the flight… Anyone following our potential itinerary as posted before departure knows that has been tossed long ago, and we are just “winging it” and having a good time!!

Good food, reasonable prices, huge servings and great views for dinner.
However, still no sunset. Heavy dark clouds moved onto the western horizon and obscured the setting sun one more time. This makes eight nights in Hawaii without a sunset into the sea….
