{"id":2572,"date":"2013-05-15T13:13:00","date_gmt":"2013-05-15T17:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/?p=2572"},"modified":"2013-05-15T13:27:37","modified_gmt":"2013-05-15T17:27:37","slug":"last-full-day-on-maui","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/?p=2572","title":{"rendered":"Last full day on Maui&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Once again the top of Molokai across Lahaina Roads Channel is wearing a fluffy cloud top:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/wpid-IMG_20130515_0714291.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_20130515_071429.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/wpid-IMG_20130515_071429.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, I am sure the same conditions exist on the top of Pu&#8217;u Haleakala today. Humidity is still quite high, even for Hawaii, and the trade winds are now blowing a steady breeze, maintaining the cloud cover on the mountain tops&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Overall, a great improvement in weather since our arrival in Hawaii, but I doubt we will make the drive to the top of Pu&#8217;u Haleakala on this trip.<\/p>\n<p>However, while sitting on the lanai this morning, I did have a little company:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/wpid-IMG_20130515_0716511.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_20130515_071651.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/hawaii.lwwilliams.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/wpid-IMG_20130515_071651.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Doves and pigeons galore came to rest along the balcony for about 20 minutes.
