is the volcanic formation which our group of rooms sits high atop overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  Makes for a wonderful view point.

There is a nightly torch lighting and cliff diving off the end of Black Rock.  Hopefully, tomorrow or Tuesday we will see the ceremony, as we plan to eat dinner at the resort again one of those nights.
