A nice sunny morning greets our 13th anniversary. However, I spent all night coughing my head off. Coming down with a chest cold, I think. Certainly not suffering any loss of appetite or gastrointestinal distress, so I don’t think it is the H1N1 (Swine) flu. But, just the same, it is not making me feel too good today. First stop after breakfast, the drug store for some cough syrup/drops…

This was just over an hour ago… Right after we headed down for the Mother’s Day Buffet Dinner. Coconut Shrimp, Prime Rib, Lamb Chops, Pasta to Order and other great stuff… We are stuffed, but still have to check out the desserts..

Tomorrow is another busyish day, if we do all we are thinking about. It was good to relax a little today…

Boy, gotta wonder about the front desk help here at the Turtle Bay Resort… Just checked with the concierge here at the hotel about tonight’s luau. The Polynesian Cultural Center is closed on Sundays!!! They have rescheduled the luau for tomorrow, which is our anniversary… Not sure if we want that for our anniversary dinner, I’ll have to see what Marianne wants to do when she gets back from the spa…

Slowing things down a little today. Marianne is going to the spa today for some special “mother’s day” deals on treatments. It will give me a chance to relax as well. This afternoon and tonight we will be at the Polynesian Cultural Center to check out the center and then go to their luau dinner and show. It is all a part of our package here at Turtle Bay…
