17 Mile Drive, Monterey, CA

After a nice dinner with Steve Lipman last night, we have to decide on today’s activities. Our options:
1: Explore San Francisco itself
2: Drive north to Marin Headlands & Muir Woods area
3: Drive south to the Monterey area and explore (unplanned)
It is going to be a nice sunny day in the bay area, the first time in three trips for San Francisco itself, so I am thinking SF city is the right choice.
But, it is just 6am, and when Marianne wakes up we will decide 🙂

After a quick lunch at McDonalds by SFO, we drove south to Palo Alto then west over the ridges through the redwoods to San Gregorio Beach, then north to Half Moon Bay and back east to the hotel in South San Francisco.
