Fairly heavy cloud cover this morning, and it is still drifting slowly to the NNW. Bot typical tradewinds flow…

Looks like it might not be the best day to travel up Waimea Canyon, but it is our last day on Kaua’i. But, then again, the past three days have been no better with the VOG. Hopefully, we will get a little more of a breeze on the west coast and clear out some of the vog on the high grounds.

Besides Waimea Canyon & Kokee Park, we will probably stop by the Kaua’i Coffee Company, Koloa Town shopping district and of course a stop for lunch at the “Shrimp Station” in Waimea (just for Tim!).

I guess we are still into a more northerly surf this spring, and have not entered the summer southern swells. Last visit this blow hole was much more active, but I did manage to catch a couple good blasts on the camcorder..

The view from Duke’s Canoe Club and Barefoot Bar and Grill at the Kaua’i Marriott. We stopped here for dinner on Sunday night… Best place for lunch in Lihue.
