Picture Transfer Problems….

Sorry, no facebook or blog pictures of our helicoter flight or vow renewal until we return home. I just found out my eReader Tablet SD card reader does not support the UltraSD card in the Nikon L110…. No way to get them to the web….

Kualoa Regional Park & Chinaman’s Hat

The sun came out for a bit at the park, but heavy clouds remained over the peaks inland. From here we progressed southward to Kanehoe.
The panorama is the southern 3/4ths of the park, as the Droid only will do 180°…
Started to do another starting from the north, but the software lost its place stitching the pictures. I have a 360° series of shots on the Nikon, tripod mounted to stitch @ home.
Exchanged some items @ Ross and grabbed a burger @ McD’s before heading back up the coast to Turtle Bay. Ran through heavy rain between Kualoa & Kanehoe on the way down and almost the entire trip back up was light to moderate rain.
Some clearing and better weather expected for Wednesday, and considerably closer to normal after that…

New Waterfall [to Us!]…

Hawaii2011-0274All of the recent heavy rain has water flowing over a waterfall that is usually active during the rainy season in the winter.

This is coming down of the ridge behind Punalu’u on the windward coast, just south of La’ie.  Marianne has better shots from the Nikon 12.1mp camera.

Another Damp Morning in Paradise!!

2011-05-10_08-01-35_783Good Tuesday Morning!! Even though it is afternoon for most of my friends, it is only just after 8am here @ Turtle Bay on the north shore of O’ahu. Still some heavy showers forecast for today. The picture is of one of these showers moving up the coast towards us about 40 minutes ago.  At least it only rained for a few minutes…
Not sure what we are doing today, but we have reservations @ the Polynesian Cultural Center for their Luau Dinner & Show tonight. (Part of hotel package).
