Don’t know what it is called, but you don’t eat the spiney husk or the hard pit. The fruit part is white and Marianne says it tastes like a grape…

OK, there is a simple and basic instinct in me that says- THAT SHOULD NOT BE EATEN, but beat it with a broom until you know it is really dead. A fruit…..I imagine Spock and Capt. Kirk have stories about aliens that look like fruit too.
