Patiently Waiting For Dinner

Sitting in the rental car playing with the Sirius Satellite Radio… Hopefully will have a seat soon… Buzzz… Buzzz.. Time to go in and “Pepper in Some Fun!”

Redwoods Anyone?

Our first two stops today were at the Big Basin and Henry Cowell Redwood State Park Visitor Centers. We walked the short trails at both parks, but I only took pictures with the SideKick LX-2009 at the Henry Cowell park. I was using the DVD Recorder at Big Basin.

Marianne was taking pictures with the Kodak digital camera at both parks, but I haven’t gotten to those pictures yet… I am post-timing this post to the time we were at the park, and these are some of the pictures from Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park:

Yesterday’s Short Excursion

I was so tired last night I really didn’t feel like making any additional blog entries, but we did make one short trip down the peninsula to the Puglas Water Temple, which is a memorial to those who worked to bring the Hetch Hetchy water supply to the residents of the Bay Peninsula 75 years ago.

The memorial is classic Greek architecture, and when I found it on the web after looking at the area on Google Earth, I just had to come to see it. I just wish it was a nice sunny day like our trip 2 years ago when we passed right by and did not know it was here.

Unfortunately, it was not the best of weather, rainy and wet, but we did walk around a bit to see the area.
