Travel Review: May 6, 2013, Part II: Sausalito & San Francisco

After exploring the Marin Headlands, we drove down to Sausalito on the North Bay to walk around, see the sights and grab a snack before returning to the hotel.

Once back at the hotel, we got changed for dinner with our friend Steve and drove to Downtown San Francisco and got a guided tour of the sights from The Embarcadero, to Chinatown, to Nob Hill, to Union Square, where we ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory on the 8th Floor Balcony of Macy’s.

Travel Review: May 6, 2013: Golden Gate & Marin Headlands

Our one full day in the SF Bay area on the way out was highlighted by exploring the Golden Gate & Marin Headlands Area…  Even though it was not a sunny day, the views were spectacular….

Travel Review: May 5, 2013: History Park, San Jose

For the past three previous trips to Hawaii, I had wanted to visit History Park in San Jose, but we never had the time, or were not on a weekend layover in the SF Bay area.  This time, we made the trip down to San Jose on our first day, and met some old Internet Friends for the first time 🙂

Followup on Our 2013 Hawaii Trip…

I jut realized a couple days ago that my tablet was not properly configured when uploading photos to leave a larger resized photo that would load when you clicked on a photo, so I am doing something to fix that:

For the next couple weeks, each day, I will post the highlight photos from our trip to this blog as a gallery item with a short description to go with the group of photos.  These photos will be clickable to a larger, at least full screen sized, photo if you click on them from the gallery viewer.

I went through our 3,546 photos from the trip (yes, we really took that many), and thinned them down to just under 2,000.  Not to worry, I will be thinning down further, and will not be posting all 1,973 current photos and panoramas to this blog, but there will be plenty…
