Our Return to Hawai’i is coming soon!!!

We have decided to make a return trip to Hawai’i for our 13th wedding anniversary in May.  We have made all the plans, and set up the reservations, etc. for our trip.  Now we are just anxiously awaiting our departure date.

We are spending the night before departure, April 30th, in Syracuse, as we did in 2007, and also spending 2 nights in San Francisco in both directions.  We will arrive on Kaua’i on Marianne’s birthday, May 3rd, and spend 4 nights at the Hilton Kaua’i Beach Resort before moving on to the north shore of O’ahu and the Turtle Bay Resort for 7 nights, celebrating our 13th anniversary on May 11th.

Look for daily updates during our trip, but it is still two and a half months away….

If you have been getting this blog via RSS feed, you most likely did not get the back-dated entries with the pictures I have posted over the past week. If you want to see the pictures I posted, you will have to visit the blog directly and use the calendar function to see the posted pictures.

I also have about 6 or 7 hours if video, and will be creating a few DVD’s from this video sometime in the future. If anyone is interested in a DVD of our still pictures or the videos, let me know, and I can send you a copy when the editing is completed. It might be a few months before that is done, however….

Final Blog Entry for This Trip….

Well, I have now loaded all the pictures to the blog that I had intended to post. In all, there are a total of over 1300 pictures we took, so only a small portion are on this blog. I just completed the entries with the pictures for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We took no pictures on our return to Syracuse on the 25th, that I could find I think we were just happy to be getting home, as the traveling was beginning to make us tired, and the change of time back to the east coast was more tiring than the trip west….

Picture and Text Updates Loaded for 8/20 & 8/21

I have completed the loading of additional blog entries for 8/20 and 8/21 tonight. As before, to view these two dates, just click on the date on the calendar in the right sidebar. It will give you a portion of the text along with the title. Chronologically, the new entries will start at the bottom of the page. If you click on the Title of the last article for the date, it will go to that post. From there, you can move up through the posts chronologically by clicking on the link at the bottom right of each post.

If you have not seen the posts before the 20th and 21st, then start with the last date you viewed, and go forward from there using the link at the bottom right of each post.
