As the morning started, so went most of the day…. With the passing of Tropical Storm Flossie to the south of the island, it was a breezy and rainy day most of the day. We decided to spend the day around the resort relaxing and checking things out, but every time we headed out for a walk around the beaches, it started to rain again…

We took the picture below as we were sitting under a grove of trees to keep dry during one of the numerous short downpours all day.

By late afternoon, it finally cleared off, and we were able to make it out to the middle of Turtle Bay, to the west of the resort. It was only about a half mile walk, but my legs were dead when we got back. Unfortunately, I think my legs are getting a little weaker every day during this trip, but I’ll manage

As we got closer back to the hotel, we found a group of sea turtles playing in the surf. It was had to catch them on film or video because of the breaking surf, but Marianne managed a couple shots, and I have not reviewed the video yet.
