Sunrise was at 6:10am this morning, and we were just preparing to pack up to fly over to Kauai for a couple nights. Now it’s about an hour later, and we are about ready to leave for breakfast and the airport.
Notable events during our stay on Oahu:
1: Worst Forest Fire in 10 years, 6,000+ acres so far
2: Magnitude 5.4 Earthquake on Hawaii (Big Island)
3: Hurricane/Tropical Storm Flossie
and this just in:
4: We had a Tsunami Warning yesterday after the earthquake in Peru!!
So, now we are headed over to Kauai to see what damages we can wreak over there 
You better not leave the place in such a wreck that the rest of us can’t go and enjoy the beauty, someday….
Look on the bright side… These are all events you would never experience in NY. And they are in the history books…
