Left the hotel about 6:35am, dropped of rental car an boarded AirTrain to the terminal before 7:00am, baggage check and TSA Pre cleared before 7:20. Took us longer to make the walk all the way out to Gate 86 at the very end of Terminal 3, Concourse F.  Boarding starts at 8:25am, departure at 9:05am.

Travel Preparations Commence….

Well, for my faithful followers, it is once again time to start working on plans for Hawai’i Travels. We have booked our vacation package and associated airfare and accommodations in the San Francisco area for our trip this spring. We are departing on Tuesday, April 28th for two nights in San Francisco before heading to O’ahu on April 30th.

We will be staying at the Turtle Bay Resort on the north shore of O’ahu for 6 nights, then headed over to the Sheraton Kona Resort at Keauhou Bay, just south of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai’i for 7 nights.

We then return to San Francisco for two nights on May 13th, with our final flight back home on Friday, May 15th.

Friday the 13th on O’ahu….

Sorry no posts to the blog yesterday. It started out as a not so good day with news that a good friend back home is gravely ill. Prayers are needed for our friend Beth at this time. We are praying/hoping for a good prognosis, but the situation is extremely serious.
Since we did not feel like sitting through the shows at the Polynesian Cultural Center, we hit the roads once again around 11am….
